Every 3 and 4 year old is entitled to 15 hours of Early Education per week. This is paid for by the government. So, starting the term after your child's third birthday, your child can come to our nursery for 15 hours at no charge to yourself. Your child can start as soon as they are 3, however you would need to pay the hourly rate as their funding would not be valid until the following term.
We recognise, however, that many parents need more than 15 hours childcare which is why we offer you the opportunity to pay for additional sessions. Our charge is £3.75 per hour.
In September 2017 the Government announced that the Early Years Entitlement will increase from 15 hours to 30 hours per week for each parent (or sole parent) who earns the equivalent of 16 hours of paid work a week at the National minimum wage, and earn no more than £100,000 per year. Parents need to apply for the funding the term before they wish their child to start the 30 hours provision and provide us with the eligibility code.
